After six years as a photojournalist and multimedia photographer for Sun-Times Media in Chicago and ten years as a Senior Associate for a large Chicago fine art wedding photography studio, I have created my dream of my own wedding photography studio. I bring a blend of fine art and photojournalism to each wedding that I document. I passionately push the limits of my camera looking for unique ways to express the beauty and suspense that every wedding offers. Each and every wedding is an honor to photograph, an honor that I take very seriously. In addition, I celebrate all love, and welcome LGBTQIA+ weddings. I also love photographing weddings for people of diverse cultures and faiths. If you like authentic images informed by art please reach out and let's work together!
When not photographing a wedding or portrait session, I'm in my Vermont home documenting the daily life of my husband and twelve-year-old son, and fitting in a yoga session, time in nature, or gardening whenever I can. I have a master's degree in environmental studies and my photographic work has been recognized by the National Press Photographers Association, Editor and Publisher, Women in Photojournalism, and the Illinois Press Photographers' Association, Press Association and Associated Press. Please get in touch and tell me all about you! Whether an intimate country elopement, a backyard party or a grand urban celebration, from start to finish, I want to hear all about it.
